Short.cm is a reliable service, which provides all the necessary measures for your safety.

1. GDPR Compliance.

GDPR โ€“ an adopted legalization describing personal data security and how it must be regulated. It means that if your website gathers personal data from people in Europe (or if your code is used by sites that do), you will be under the GDPR.

Short.cm meets all GDPR requirements. Due to GDPR, by creating a Short.cm account, you agree to Short.cm's privacy policy and terms of service.

Among the types of personal data that Short.cm collects are cookies, email addresses, usage data, passwords, first names, last names, images, and company names.

Short.cm stores the personal data privately in AWS S3 in Virginia in the United States and never shares it with third-party services.

2. SSL Certificate.

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a security level for protecting transmitted information between a server and a 'user's browser.

SSL certificate ensures users to confidently enter private information such as account login data, or credit card numbers. SSL secures data from third-party services as well as Internet hackers. Note that Google blocks sites, that do not support SSL, and provides protected sites with a better search engine ranking.

Short.cm is an encrypted service, so the official website starts with HTTPS. Moreover, all short links you've created on Short.cm are also secured.

3. Stripe Payment service.

Your credit card data won't be stored in any way by Short.cm. Short.cm doesn't charge the card twice or more. The payment vendor Stripe Inc handles the payment process.

4. Two-factor Authentication (2FA)

We implemented 2-step verification login to Short.cm service so that you can be sure in your online safety.

Short.cm supports 2FA via specialized authenticator apps like "Google Authenticator" or "Authy." The app, pre-installed by you to work with the service, has a constantly rotating set of codes you can use whenever needed.
