There are times when you might want to automatically delete your short links for time-based advertising and marketing campaigns once the links have expired.
For those scenarios we recommend setting TTL (Time To Live) parameter.
Another advantage of TTL is that once the links are deleted, we will also reduce your overall link count. This allows you to tidy up your dashboard and lower your expenses.
Note: The TTL parameter should be configured at least one week in advance of the current time in order to function correctly. And unlike expiring links, deleting a link by TTL can be delayed by an hour or two.
