Team members inherit a pricing plan of a team owner. Sometimes, you need to change the team Owner to one, who has an appropriate price plan or just to another team member.

Note: You can change a team Owner only to a user that is Admin.

Learn the instruction below:

1 Go you your Short.io account.

2. Open the User menu.

3. Click Teams.

4. Open a needed Team.

5. Click on the triangle icon right to rename button.

6. Select Transfer.

7. The button text should now change Transfer, click this button

And select the new team owner

After that, team ownership will be transferred to the selected team member immediately.
